Next week, we will be proudly sponsoring the HR Leaders Summit in Toronto, where over 400 senior HR professionals will gather to gain exclusive industry insights and practical professional strategies to take away with them.
An impressive lineup of international speakers will take to the stage over the course of the two-day conference (November 13th & 14th) at the International Centre in Toronto, to share their expertise. These, along with the interactive workshops, panel debates and networking, will offer a wealth of opportunities for the valuable exchange of ideas and knowledge.
The HR industry is evolving, particularly given the increasing use of disruptive technologies, such as AI, in the workplace. At the HR Leaders Summit, top HR professionals will share their experience of introducing new ways of working, along with examples of how they are adapting their own workplaces.
With a number of fascinating sessions scheduled, the Xref team will be planning our time carefully to be sure to catch as many as possible. With learnings promised on everything from the broad analysis of current and future HR trends, to the very specific in-depth discussions on issues such as the principles of leadership and the neuroscience of quality conversations, it looks set to be a hugely insightful couple of days.
I will also be joining the speaker schedule, to share some thoughts on the organizational threats created by the HR department. I’ll be sharing a first look at the findings of some brand new research we have conducted in Canada, to demonstrate the dangers of relying on traditional, manual recruitment processes - not just in terms of the hiring decisions you make, but also from a wider, organizational perspective.
Today’s HR leaders have greater visibility of and involvement in organizational decision-making, with more chance of gaining a seat at the board table and a chance to have some say in the way an organization operates, with its people in mind. But with this increased involvement comes greater accountability for the HR department and the impact of its decisions on broader business issues. Join me to find out how your HR processes could be putting your organization at risk. Full session details below - I look forward to seeing you there!
