Xref becomes candidate referencing service for NBN
- Xref platform to be used in hiring all NBN staff – permanent, temporary and contracted

Xref Limited (ASX:XF1), the human resources technology company, has announced that following a competitive tender, it has been awarded the contract to provide its automate, online candidate referencing solution to the NBN (National Broadband Network) group. The NBN will provide Australia’s new landline phone and internet connectivity, and is wholly-owned by the Commonwealth of Australia.
Xref will be the exclusive candidate referencing solution provider for all NBN hiring, including permanent, temporary and contracted employees. The principal tasks of the NBN are to design, build and operate Australia’s new broadband network, and its key objective is to ensure all Australians have access to fast broadband as soon as possible, at affordable prices, and at least cost. Xref has
been appointed to support the organisation’s hiring needs as it strives to activate eight million homes and businesses by 2020.
Xref’s software as a service (SaaS) platform automates the collection of feedback on potential and current employees for more than 600 clients across seven countries, including 36% of the ASX’s top 50 companies. Xref collects 60% more data, five times faster than traditional methods and, by automating a business critical task, protects companies from fraud, discrimination and privacy breaches.
