Introducing Packages: Available now on Xref

We are excited to introduce Packages, a new way to standardise and simplify your hiring workflow. Packages allow you to group multiple checks into a single, reusable configuration, reducing manual setup and ensuring consistency across your entire organisation.

A package is a pre-configured set of checks and settings that can be selected instantly when sending a new request. By creating a package, you can combine:

• Reference Surveys: Select the specific survey tailored for the role.
• Background Checks: Include necessary checks through your Trust Marketplace connection.
• Request Settings: Pre-fill requirements such as the minimum number of referees, coverage periods, and custom notes to candidates.

How to Get Started

Managing your new workflow is simple. Follow these steps to create your first package

• Navigate: Open Organisation settings in the top navigation and select Packages.
• Create: Click Create package and give it a unique name.
• Configure: Choose your reference survey, add any required background checks, and set your referee requirements.
• Activate: Set the status to Active to make it immediately available for your team.

Smart Management and Permissions

The system is designed to keep your processes compliant and up to date:

• Automatic Safeguards: If a survey is deleted or a background check becomes unavailable, the system will automatically disable the affected package to prevent errors.
• Editing Rules: To maintain data integrity, the internal contents of a package can only be edited if it has never been used in a request. However, you can rename a package at any time.
• Role-Based Access: Full management access is available to Owners and Admins, while Members can use any packages they have permission to access based on their assigned roles.
